What do I need to do?

ACH deposits or ACH withdrawals


Please review your statements immediately for any ACH deposits and ACH withdrawals such as payroll deposits, Social Security or VA benefits, tax or child support payments, utility payments, subscription fees, etc. Contact each organization and provide them with our current routing number, 211385556, and your corresponding MICR/ACH Account Number.

Updating your Social Security information

If your benefits are currently deposited into an SCU account

You must update your ACH direct deposit information.


You can connect with the Social Security Administration in a few ways:

  • Online: The easiest way is to log in to your personal My Social Security account at ssa.gov/myaccount.
  • By Phone: Call the Social Security Administration directly at 800-772-1213. Please note that recent policy changes may require you to have a "my Social Security" account to get a one-time code before calling.
  • In Person: You can visit a local Social Security office for assistance.

Routing Number Retirement Questions

  • Why do I need to update my routing number?

    As of November 30, 2025, old routing numbers from Crescent Credit Union, Brockton Postal Credit Union, and Uniti Credit Union will no longer be active. After this date, any ACH payments or withdrawals using one of these old routing numbers will be automatically rejected. You must update your routing number to ensure your checks, ACH Direct Deposits, and ACH withdrawals work correctly.

  • What should I do to prepare for this change?

    Please review your statements immediately for any ACH Direct Deposits and ACH withdrawals. Contact each one and provide them with our current routing number, 211385556, and your account number. You can find your account number in online banking.

    • For checks: Order new checks from SCU Credit Union. Call Member services at 877-661-3300 or stop into a branch. We're providing them at no cost to you.
    • For ACH Direct Deposits and ACH withdrawals: Update your information with each company or service that deposits money into or withdraws money from your account.
  • Do I need to update my Social Security direct deposit information?

    Yes. If your Social Security benefits are currently deposited into an account at SCU, you must update your direct deposit information.

  • How do I update my Social Security ACH direct deposit?

    You can update your direct deposit information with the Social Security Administration in a few ways:

    • Online: The easiest way is to log in to your personal My Social Security account at ssa.gov/myaccount.
    • By Phone: Call the Social Security Administration directly at 1-800-772-1213. Please note that recent policy changes may require you to have a "my Social Security" account to get a one-time code before calling.
    • In Person: You can make an appointment to visit a local Social Security office for assistance.
  • Do I need to update my VA or other government payment information.

    Yes, if you are receiving payments from a federal agency or state government, you will need to contact them to update your payment information.

  • What is the current routing number?

    The current routing number for SCU Credit Union is 211385556. It's a nine-digit number that identifies the financial institution for electronic transactions.

  • How do I find my statement online?

    On the mobile app:
    Log into your account.
    At the bottom of the screen, select More
    Select Account Manager, then Statements and Notices.
    On a computer:
    Login into your account
    In the top menu select Account Manager, then statements and notices

  • How do I find my account number?

    Your account number is also called your "MICR/ACH Account Number." You can find it in Online Banking:

    On a computer:

    Login to your accout. In the dashboard, select the Account receiving the ACH deposit or ACH withdrawal

    Click ‘Account Details’ 

    Scroll down to ‘MICR/ACH Account Number’

    On the mobile app:

    Select the account currently receiving ACH deposit or ACH withdrawal Click ‘Show Details’ at the top of the screen

    Scroll down to ‘MICR/ACH Account Number’.
