Dear Valued Member,

At this time last year, we announced the successful merger of Sharon Credit Union and Crescent Credit Union. In a matter of two short months, our business would be set on a different course. There was no way we could have anticipated the challenges before us as we joined our organizations to become Sharon & Crescent United Credit Union amid a global pandemic.

As we worked on member data, online banking, bill pay, and debit card conversions, we moved most operations remote and built new workflows and procedures. Our main objective was to continue to serve our members to the best of our abilities while doing our part to limit the spread of COVID-19, keeping our members and employees safe.

Despite all our best efforts, 2020 continued to bring challenge after challenge. Like many, our employees and their families were impacted directly and indirectly by the coronavirus. Managing the virus and unexpected 14-day quarantines for entire branches, departments and business partners has impacted our daily business. We implemented staffing teams and additional remote access capabilities to service our members, but it has not been enough to meet all your needs. So, in 2021 we will continue to implement solutions that will allow us to respond to our members more quickly and efficiently, hire additional staff to service your needs, and communicate our progress.

We truly appreciate your business and thank you for your patience over the last year as we have all navigated these unprecedented times. We hope that you will continue to support your fellow members, the staff who have served you well over the years, and each other. Together, we can make 2021 a better year for all.
