Collections Etc. Fraud Attempt
Over the weekend there was attempted debit card fraud at merchant Collections Etc. that impacted SCU Credit Union and many other financial institutions. The attempts were unsuccessful. The fraudsters did not have enough card information for the transactions to process successfully through members’ accounts. The merchant has been blocked, so any further attempts will also be denied. We ask that you monitor your debit card activity on your accounts over the next 2 weeks. Should you see any suspicious activity, please notify us at once by calling 877-661-3300. If you would like to replace your card, we can order one for you which you should receive within 7 to 10 business days. Simply call 877-661-3300 and choose option 3. You can also visit one of our branches to replace your card immediately.
