SCU Credit Union Warning Members of Texting Scam

SCU Credit Union has received several calls from our members that have received text messages from 571-223-6244 and 571-223-6330 indicating their account was logged into by a help desk device near Dallas, Texas.

The message provides a link to update your account security to click. When the member clicks this link, they are prompted to enter their card number, card expiration date, security code, pin number, social security number, date of birth, postal code and street address.

Please do not enter any information. This is a scam!

SCU Credit Union will never call, send emails or text messages requesting members to disclose or "verify" personal information about their accounts. If you receive a suspicious email, please send it to mbrservice@scucu.com If you receive a suspicious phone call or text message, and suspect that fraudulent activity is affecting your account, please contact our Contact center at 781.784.7725.
